Dear Marauders & everyone else,
I think I have fallen in love with one of my good guy friends, but I have no idea how to tell him, and I don't want him to freak out if I do. I always getting treated like one of the guys and I'm hoping to get him to see me different light. What should I do?
- One of the guys
Dear Snivellus Snape,
I say you just march up to Lucius and swear your eternal love already. The voices in my head are snoring.
Best of Luck,
What on Earth, Black, would make you think I would post a question like this? What would make you think I am pining for a relationship? I prefer my solitude, as opposed to something like you who requires constant simpering and 'proof' of your greatness from your sycophantic followers. It is simply disgusting. I am not the one with extra voices in his head, either. Just a little something for you to gnaw on for a while, until your tiny brain is taken by the next short skirt that walks by.
As for Anonymous, I suggest forgetting about love. It will only make you weak and vulnerable. That being said, offer him a shag, and get it out of your system. There is no such thing as love, there is only lust and obsession. Once you find out what a horrible shag he most likely is, or perhaps, you are, things will be forgotten. Your friendship will probably never be the same, but it probably wasn't that great in the first place if your "beloved" cannot see you for the individual that you are and only places you as one of the crowd, not good enough or special enough to be an individual in his eyes.
Goddamn it Snivellus,
That was fucking moving. I think I'm tearing up.
Why don't you write love-ballads for the Weird Sisters? I can hear it now "Offer him a Shag, You're probably lousy at it anywayyyyyyy". You should really stop passing on advice given to you by your last employment councillor.
Me thinks the hunch-nose of Notre-Dame doth protest too much.
And why are you anonymous?
What is this bloke like?
Is ir just me or is Sirius more schizophrenic than usual lately?
That's a tough one. A lot of the times when you get pulled into friendship it's hard to break out of it. If you're going to change the situation you have to do something to actually change it.
Again, I'm not so brilliant on the relationship advice front, but I think Lily is right.
If he's a true friend, then I doubt that he will "freak out".
